For many years I have lamented that standard US coins are too thin, too light, and barely fun to play with. When I travelled to Europe, I got a taste of slightly heavier, slightly thicker coins, with a different sound profile, too. Standard US coins now comparitavely feel like fake plastic play money (which is ironic considering they are not fun to Play with at all). When I discovered thick-coins.net, I desperately wanted several of these massive coins as a stim toy, but the price tag was discouraging. However, my hope was reignited when I spotted the listing for a ten pack of “defect” thpennies at a fantastic discount. I purchased this pack immediately. These hefty coins are everything I could have hoped for. I love feeling their Heft as I roll them around in my hands. And of course they are made of my favorite metal, Copper. Theodore, you are my hero. Thank you.
