FAQs

Orders & Shipping

Q. When will my order ship?
A: Most items are shipped within 2-3 business days after your order is placed. See the Shipping page for more information.

Q. How long does shipping take?
A: Most orders to the U.S. ship in 1-7 business days, so you can usually expect to get your item(s) 5-10 days after placing your order. See the Shipping page for more information.

Q. Can I cancel my order?
A: To cancel an order, you must let us know within 12 hours of when the order was placed. We’re sometimes able to process cancellations after the 12-hour window but once production begins we can no longer cancel the order.

Q. Can I return an item from my order?
A: We offer free replacements if your items are damaged or different than what you ordered. Orders are non-refundable but you can return for store credit. Read more on the Returns & Exchanges page.

Q. I want to exchange an item from my order for a different size or color, is that possible?
A:  Our items are all printed to order, which means we do not keep an inventory. Because of this we cannot offer an outright exchange. However, if there is an issue with your order you may be able to get a replacement; read more on the Returns & Exchanges page.

About Us

Q. What does your brand name “Legboot” mean?
A:  It is a corruption of the word “bootleg”. We make bootleg style apparel (and other products) so it seemed appropriate.

Q. What was that nonsense on your homepage about hiding stuff in retail stores?
A:  We started making our shirts for one purpose: to sneak them into local clothing stores. Our original goal was simply to hang our shirts on clothing racks for the fun of it and wait for unsuspecting shoppers to find them. Due to popular demand, we’ve expanded our operations to offer our designs for sale on the interwebz.

Q. What’s with the creepy logo?
A:  It’s not creepy, it’s just a leg boot. That is, a boot made out of a leg. Try not to think about it too hard.

Q. Wait so this is just teh ripoffz of Obvious Plant?11
A:  No, it’s not. Obvious Plant does great work and is an inspiration for sure, but using the same art medium for expression does not make the art a rip-off. Many artists use similar mediums and styles without directly copying each others works.
